A conference was held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as part of the ongoing TÜBİTAK 1001 Project (“An Economy of Identity: Roma”).
The conference, moderated by Prof. Dr. Kenan AYDIN, was attended by Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇAHA, Sinan Karaca ÖZTÜRK (President of the Marmara Roma Associations Federation), Turhan ŞALLI (President of the Edirne Roma Education Volunteers Association), and Metin ÖZBASKICI (writer for cingeneyiz.org).
Following Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇAHA’s presentation on fieldwork conducted to date and a general overview, the other speakers also shared their experiences. The conference drew significant interest from faculty members and students.
