On the 80th anniversary, John M. Keynes’s *General Theory* was reviewed

The Department of Economics at our Faculty formed a panel of three academics—Prof. Dr. Asaf Savaş Akat, Prof. Dr. Ercan Eren, and Prof. Dr. Erhan Aslanoğlu—to evaluate John M. Keynes’s critiques of “Expansionary Economic Policy and Capital Flow Liberalization” as outlined in *The General Theory*, published in 1986. Furthermore, on the 80^th anniversary of *The General Theory*, they emphasized and attached great importance to these critiques in the context of the 2008 financial crisis.
