History

Our faculty, established in 1992, started to provide education with the Department of Economics in the 1993-1994 academic year. Then the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Political Science and Public Administration have started their activities in 1996-1997 and 1999-2000, respectively. The Department of Economics in the 2014-2015 academic year and the Department of Business Administration in the 2018-2019 academic year have started to admit students to their new educational programs in English. The Department of Political Science and International Relations continues its education with a 30% English program, and all our departments also provide education in Postgraduate Programs.

Our faculty, which started its activities in the Yıldız Campus Çukursaray building, later continued its activities in the Yıldız Palace Auxiliary Department. Yıldız Palace Auxiliary Department also hosted Mekteb-i Mülkiye (now Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences) between 1925-1936, which was later moved to Ankara at Atatürk's request. Since the 2015-2016 academic year, our faculty has started to provide education in its newly built modern building on Davutpaşa Campus.
