Conference: 3rd Annual International Conference on Social Sciences

YTÜ’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences hosted the 3rd Annual International Conference on Social Sciences.

The 3rd Annual International Conference on Social Sciences was held on October 26–27, 2017, by our faculty. The conference began with an opening ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on October 26 in the Prof. Dr. Murat DEMİRCİOĞLU Conference Hall at our faculty.

Following the opening remarks by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Kenan AYDIN, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel ŞAHİN, the program continued with a presentation titled “Globalization, Institutions, and Economics: Observation and Forecasting” by Prof. Dr. Asaf Savaş AKAT from Bilgi University.

Unlike the previous two conferences, the number of participants from Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, India, and Oman exceeded that of participants from Europe.

The conference sessions, held on October 26–27, featured active audience participation from academics, instructors, and undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students.
