A conference held as part of an ongoing TÜBİTAK 1001 Project (“An Identity Economics: The Romani”) took place at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Kenan AYDIN, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇAHA, Sinan Karaca ÖZTÜRK (President of the Federation of Romani Foundations of Marmara), Turhan ŞALLI (President of the Romani Educational Volunteers Foundation of Edirne), and Metin ÖZBASKICI (writer at cingeneyiz.org).
After Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇAHA discussed the fieldwork conducted to date, the other speakers shared their experiences. The conference drew significant attention from faculty members and students.
