Dr. Mehmet Güllüoğlu, President of AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Authority), was our guest. As a guest of our Faculty’s Department of Political Science and International Relations, Güllüoğlu spoke in the Prof. Dr. Murat Demircioğlu Conference Hall, emphasizing topics related to disaster and emergency risk reduction while also explaining the international relations dimension of emergency aid provided during disasters, illustrating his points with examples.

Our Conference titled
With an opening speech by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Bahri ŞAHİN, the conference titled “The Issue of Jerusalem: Its Historical, Legal, and Political Aspects” was held at the Murat Demircioğlu Conference Hall on our campus. The conference drew significant attention from a large number of faculty members and students, as well as the Rector’s Office. While Prof. Dr. Mehmet HACISALİHOĞLU moderated the conference, speakers Prof. Dr. Zekeriya KURŞUN and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akit OKUR examined the issue from various perspectives.
Identity Economics: The Romani panel has taken place
A conference held as part of an ongoing TÜBİTAK 1001 Project (“An Identity Economics: The Romani”) took place at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
The panel was moderated by Prof. Dr. Kenan AYDIN, with the participation of Prof. Dr. Ömer ÇAHA, Sinan Karaca ÖZTÜRK (President of the Federation of Romani Foundations of Marmara), Turhan ŞALLI (President of the Romani Educational Volunteers Foundation of Edirne), and Metin ÖZBASKICI (writer at cingeneyiz.org).

The Economy of Identity: Our Panel on Novels Took Place
A conference was held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as part of the ongoing TÜBİTAK 1001 Project (“An Economy of Identity: Roma”).
